Our Story

Accademia Firenze has been making its own cotton, linen, silk, and cashmere since 1952 when the company’s pioneer founded the first atelier in Florence. Today, the third generation of the family continues the business with the same dedication and passion. While times have certainly changed since then, we continue to meet clients in Italy and abroad.
The company logo is a Medieval shield and the Florentine fleur-de-lys which reference both the location of our headquarters in Tuscany and the long experience of a family that has been investing in quality and excellence for generations.
Our skilled artisans craft fine linen following traditional Italian craftsmanship and paying close attention to every stitch and detail. At Accademia Firenze tradition and innovation coexist and elegance, style, and comfort are paramount.
We use the highest quality raw materials and transform them into fabrics in our Italian workshops. We only use solid dyes and we finish each item by hand. Sophisticated techniques and experience gained over several generations guarantee the highest quality.
